INRIM_LOGO_RGBThe INRIM staff has a recognized experience in measuring transport and thermodynamical properties of fluids, especially speed of sound, viscosity and density. The thermodynamic program of INRIM addresses to an accurate characterization of the thermo-physical properties of the fluids for energetic applications, measuring transport and thermodynamical properties of pure and blends fluids, by means of the experimental speed of sound, viscosity and density measurements, besides the develop of numerical models for the determination of the fluids EoS.
The Thermodynamics and Mechanics Division, together with the INRIM experts in cryogenic field, collaborate to merge their expertises in the thermophysical characterization of LNG.
